At Absolute Theater my business philosophy is pretty simple: Give every customer a great experience. When it comes to work ethic, customer service and helping customers select the best products for their personal needs, my staff and I are dedicated to doing the job right, and doing it right the first time. The Absolute Theater team of seasoned professionals is considered among the best in our business. Each has years of experience and knowledge in all aspects of home theater and A/V sales, service and installation. I know that the reason Absolute Theater has grown is because of our staff. And because of the great job they do, much of our growth has come through referrals from very satisfied customers.
We work closely with manufacturers like Pioneer, Denon and Epson who visit our store and train us on their new products. It never fails that the feedback I receive on my store and my staff is so positive. They tell me that Absolute Theater has figured it out, that no "big box" store can touch the kind of service and expertise we offer. Well, it's not rocket science, it just common sense. We treat customers the way we want to be treated, and we'll never lose sight of that simple philosophy.
Come meet our staff and see if you don't agree, the Absolute Theater team knows their stuff.

Dave Robenalt, Owner
Wow, it seems like it was just yesterday, when in January of '98 I was finalizing
plans to open Absolute Theater. I'm Dave Robenalt, owner of Absolute Theater.
When I started Absolute Theater, I had a pretty good idea where I wanted to take
this business and have been successful in achieving those goals. My 35 plus years
of experience in this industry have taught me a lot about what makes a store like
ours successful, where others, some much bigger than ours, have failed miserably.
For me, it began as a hobby in the early 70's while attending college. As a
musician, music was more of my life than anything else, in fact still is a big
part of my life today. I worked at several retail audio stores around Columbus,
during school and after college. Finding it almost impossible to leave this industry,
I began working for other larger manufactures, such as Harman Industries, developed
and oversaw an entire training program for a local retail store chain, and became
a Store Manager for one of the largest national, Electronic Retail Store chains.
One of my favorite jobs was a high level position with Pioneer Electronics, where
I was a corporate Training Manager and worked with the Japanese engineers on
product development for the US market. Here, I worked with some of the best people
in the Consumer Electronics business today.
Dave Hundley, Sales Manager
Hi, I'm Dave Hundley, I have been lucky enough for the last 30 plus years to have a career I truly enjoy. There is always something new. It always gets better and more affordable. Unlike some jobs, nobody dies, nobody loses the nest egg, and usually nobody goes to jail. Our main goal is to provide you with the best possible equipment for the money (something I would buy for myself) and great service. It is not uncommon for me to get a call from someone I sold something to twenty years ago. I guess I’m in my Retirement job. Does that make me a Wal-Mart greeter? "Howdy, need a cart?"
Bart Sampson, Troubleshooting Specialist
Hi, I'm Bart Sampson. I'm the store specialist for problem resolution. Some of my jobs include, but are not limited to: telephone long distance service changes; better rates for our credit card machine; factory reps that need "tuned up"; customers that need "tuned up"; contributions and "donations"; strange or persistent advertising requests; collections of all types; financial advisors that have a deal we can't refuse; and NRA memberships. My motto is "Make My Day."
